Main properties of Burdock
Burdock owes its properties to its chemical composition rich in copper, iron, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and vitamins B1 B2 B3 B5 B6 B12 C and E in addition to chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid and inulin.
Balancing of the dermis: burdock has beneficial properties against alterations of the dermis such as acne, eczema, redness, mycosis and psoriasis. This is due to the action of polyunsaturated compounds or phenolic acids.
Balancing sebum: this is essentially the main property of burdock whether it is excess sebum on the face or scalp.
Purifying properties: burdock is diuretic and purifying, therefore very useful for eliminating toxins, and thanks to the presence of inulin it fights water retention and urinary tract infections.
It is therefore considered an ally of the excretory organs or acts to purify the body.
Laxative properties: thanks to the mucilage and inulin, burdock is considered excellent against constipation and for bowel regularization.
Regulates blood pressure: if you have problems with pressure imbalances, the potassium contained in the root of the burdock can be very useful.
Fights colds: burdock has antibiotic properties even if quite mild and therefore can cure colds and seasonal ailments.
Having a good iron content, it is recommended as a support against anemia.
