Product details.

The Pro Cut 460TG is powered by the reliable TEXAS TG725 engine, which delivers 4.0 kW at 3600 rpm, offering enough power to handle even dense moss patches on the largest lawns.

It features a blade roller with 48 flail blades (also known as pivoting blades), made of 3 mm hardened steel, providing exceptional durability and long service life. These blades are designed to effectively aerate, scarify and remove moss, revitalizing the lawn for healthier growth.

The machine is equipped with a rear discharge system, allowing moss and debris to be deposited for easy collection after scarifying. Weighing 67 kilograms, it is a sturdy and durable machine, yet offers adjustable handles for ergonomic operation and comfort of use.

The Pro Cut 460TG is ideal for lawns over 500 m² and therefore recommended for both professional and smaller lawn applications.

Please note:

The machine is supplied without engine oil.

TEXAS recommends the use of 98/100 unleaded gasoline (also called E5) for all our gasoline engines, even though the manual specifies 95 (E10) unleaded gasoline. This recommendation is due to changes made as of January 1, 2020, when unleaded 95 (E10) gasoline began to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. Increasing the bioethanol content over time attracts condensation/water and reduces the shelf life of the fuel, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting problems.

5 tips for using a scarifier.

1 | Use the machine only in early spring and fall, when the soil is moist and soft. Avoid using it on dry, hard soil.

2 | Start with the minimum blade depth and adjust as needed.

3 | Work crosswise for best results.

4 | If using the collection bag, remember to empty it frequently.

5 | If the treated area is heavily infested with moss, be sure to apply nutrients such as fertilizer and lime after scarification to promote healthy grass regrowth.
